Job summary

Hertz Local Edition is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist to deliver the fastest, easiest and most valued rental car experience to Lyft and Uber drivers. The role supports reservations, rentals and post-rental inquiries, with a focus on customer service and upselling opportunities.

The position requires excellent communication, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license; weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with rental reservations, processing rentals and providing clean and safe vehicles.
• Provide assistance for post-rental inquiries involving the rental and billing process.
• Answer phone inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and related requirements.
• Maximize revenue opportunities by upselling after customer inquiries.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for pickup, including checking for damage and cleaning interiors/exteriors.
