Job summary

The Hertz Local Edition team is seeking a Sales and Service Specialist to act as a brand ambassador for Lyft/Uber drivers. You will facilitate the fastest, easiest rental experience, handling reservations, processing rentals, and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for pickup.

You’ll respond to inquiries, explain the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program, and seek opportunities to grow revenue while maintaining high service standards in a dynamic, customer‑facing role.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal operation to provide the best rental car experience.
• Assist with creating reservations, processing rentals and ensuring clean, safe vehicles.
• Handle post-rental inquiries related to rentals and billing.
• Work in a fast-paced setting with excellent customer service.
• Answer inquiries about the Hertz/Lyft/Uber Rental Car Program and requirements.
• Maximize revenue by proactively offering services after inquiries.
• Prepare vehicles for pickup, inspecting for damage, cleaning and fueling.
