The Shade Store is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant in St. Louis to deliver personalized design consultations and drive sales while supporting showroom initiatives.

You will leverage your high-touch customer service and project management expertise to create exceptional customer experiences and contribute to showroom success. Responsibilities include expert design guidance through multiple channels, maintaining a healthy pipeline, and building relationships with interior designers,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in retail, design, sales, project management or customer service with a focus on a high-end experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and CRM systems is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert design consultations and drive sales through in-person, virtual, and in-home sessions.
• Explain benefits of our custom products and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with local designers, architects, and contractors; participate in trade events.
• Collaborate with showroom leadership to boost engagement and sales performance.
