Job summary

The Shade Store in Los Angeles is seeking a Showroom Design Consultant to provide personalized design consultations and drive sales through our client platforms. You will deliver expert design guidance, manage projects, and ensure exceptional service from inspiration to installation.

As a key showroom member, you will build relationships with clients, designers, and contractors, leveraging your sales acumen and product knowledge to meet and exceed goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, design, sales, project management or customer service with a high-end focus.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Teams and CRM systems preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide design guidance via in-person, virtual, and in-home consultations.
• Explain benefits of our products to support customer projects.
• Drive sales through customer platforms to maintain a healthy pipeline.
• Nurture leads and seek new Consumer and Trade opportunities.
• Develop relationships with local interior designers, architects, and contractors.
• Collaborate with field leaders to share best practices and boost sales.
• Promote seamless customer experience during scheduling, installation, or shipping.
• Foster teamwork and a positive showroom environment.
