Job summary

Rick Hill Imports - Kingsport, TN is seeking a Service Advisor who will be the vital link between our BMW clients and the service team, identifying needs, selling and scheduling service work, and representing the BMW center with integrity.

You will coordinate with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, Parts, Technicians and Warranty Administration to build relationships and keep clients on the road safely and happily. Prior knowledge is not required but learning quickly is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Familiarity with automotive repair terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs and ensure a seamless check-in/check-out.
• Explain service options, recommend maintenance, and provide accurate cost/time estimates.
• Act as the hub between the customer and service team with clear updates.
• Create/update service records, warranty claims, and repair orders.
• Ensure customers leave with confidence in our dealership.
