Job summary

BMW of Riverside is seeking a Service Advisor to serve as the central communication hub for service and repair activities and to be the liaison between customers and technicians. You will be the primary contact for all service matters, listen to problems, arrange services, and set expectations for delivery to ensure the job is done right the first time and quickly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some post-secondary automotive training or related experience.
• At least 1 year of dealer-level or large-facility experience.
• Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an excellent CSI score as a key performance indicator.
• Assist customers with service needs for their vehicle.
• Schedule service appointments in person or by phone for timely diagnosis.
• Present repair recommendations and manage delivery of repairs.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Educate/train new staff as needed.
• Continually learn about product updates and features to meet customer needs.
