Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a detail-oriented Rooms Controller to join the Front Office team. You will manage room inventory, coordinate assignments, and ensure readiness to support guest arrivals while partnering with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Reservations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a luxury resort environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's in Hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in hotel operations or front office is desirable.
• Proficiency with PMS and basic Microsoft Office tools.

Mansioni

• Maintain knowledge of resort policies and Forbes Travel Guide standards.
• Block and assign rooms based on guest needs and VIP status.
• Review arrivals, departures, and group movements for proper room allocation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure room readiness and inventory accuracy.
• Manage group room blocks and track special requests (early check-in, late checkout, etc.).
• Monitor room availability and update PMS in real-time.
• Communicate status and priorities to all departments throughout the day.
• Resolve room discrepancies and guest requests promptly and professionally.
