Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations and drive luxury service. You will supervise staff, coach team members, and ensure rooms meet Forbes luxury standards while maintaining guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, delivery of high-quality cleaning, and collaboration with Front Office to resolve guest requests and maintain flawless guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, luxury property, or similar environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and guestroom cleaning standards.
• Experience conducting guestroom inspections preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, equipment, and proper sanitation procedures.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality or Forbes standards preferred.
• Proficiency with hotel systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and support Housekeeping team during daily operations.
• Conduct departmental briefings and communicate daily priorities and VIPs.
• Provide direction to Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants.
• Train team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, productivity, and performance.
• Provide coaching and feedback and recognize strong performance.
• Promote teamwork and professional communication within the department.
• Ensure guest requests are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Guest Services to meet guest needs.
• Assist with maintaining safety, sanitation, and luxury service standards.
