Job summary

TUMI is seeking an Associate Manager for its Retail team in New York. You will build a culture of exceptional client service, drive sales through outstanding service, and lead and train store associates to meet and exceed KPI targets.

The role requires comfort in a fast-paced luxury environment, strong communication and leadership skills, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Growth opportunities and a focus on world-class client experiences are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
• Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
• The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
• Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
• Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
• Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.Have strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize, think strategically, and champion change effectively.
• Lead training and development; coach store associates and support quarterly personal development goals.
• Communicate effectively; maintain ethical conduct and promote store goals while adapting to change.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and maintain Tumi University Training; adhere to company policies.
