Coach, a global luxury fashion house, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in a fast-paced retail environment in Palo Alto, CA. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, operational excellence, and team development while upholding Coach service standards on the floor and across digital channels.

You will recruit, coach, and retain talent, mentor staff, and collaborate with leadership to translate market trends into actionable store strategies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion background preferred.
• Strong customer focus and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Strategy: support Store Manager with forecasting, planning and category initiatives; monitor KPIs and adjust strategies.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: create an inclusive, high-energy environment that meets Coach standards; resolve issues and act as brand ambassador.
• Lead & Develop Talent: recruit, onboard, and coach team members; build a strong talent pipeline.
• Execute Omni-Channel & Digital Engagement: support virtual shopping, clienteling, and data capture; leverage social trends.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: oversee scheduling, payroll, HR processes, risk, and visual merchandising standards; maintain safety.
• Collaborate & Communicate: partner with leadership to interpret trends and share insights with district/corporate teams.
