Job summary

Kairoi seeks a Service Technician to maintain our multifamily communities, responding to resident service requests, repairing appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and assisting with unit make-ready for new residents.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork, with on-call duties for emergencies. A valid driver’s license is required and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in apartment home repair, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, plus HVAC work.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• OSHA safety knowledge required.
• Excellent customer service and resident-focused mindset.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and estimated completion times to residents.
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant units to ensure readiness.
