Kairoi Residential is seeking an experienced Service Technician in Houston, TX to maintain our multifamily communities. You will handle resident service requests, assist with make-ready apartments, and perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks to ensure quality living spaces.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, clear resident communication, and participation in after-hours emergencies. A valid driver’s license and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of apartment repair experience including carpentry, plumbing and basic electrical work.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Must know OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and resident experience focus.
• Willing to be on-call for emergencies and flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Respond to resident service requests in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve resident issues efficiently.
• Communicate with residents about progress and estimated completion times.
• Assist in make-ready for vacant apartments to be clean, functional and ready for new residents.
• Clean appliances, fixtures, surfaces, and perform minor repairs/touch-ups.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the community including grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Clean and maintain pool area, laundry rooms, fitness centers and other spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Report issues to the Service Manager for prompt resolution.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Keep the maintenance shop and storage areas clean and organized.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hour emergencies.
