Job summary

Kairoi Residential in Dallas is seeking a Service Technician to maintain a multifamily community. You will respond to resident service requests, prepare vacant apartments for new residents, and assist with a range of maintenance tasks throughout the property, including troubleshooting appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.

The role requires 2–3 years of apartment repair experience, basic carpentry, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in apartment home repair, including carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• OSHA safety knowledge and compliance.
• Excellent customer service and resident experience focus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 12 months.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry).
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in make-ready process for vacant units, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Maintain appearance of grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Conduct routine property inspections and report safety concerns.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
