Montage International in San Diego seeks a seasoned Manager of Meetings and Events to oversee group assignments from the Sales Department, monitor contracts for guest room blocks, meeting space, F&B, and concessions, and act as a business partner aligned with the company’s goals, mission, and values.

The role works with the Sales and Events teams to forecast revenues, review bills, and enforce deadlines while coordinating with culinary and catering teams to ensure flawless events and high guest

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Event Management or Conference Services.
• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of entertainment market.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Delphi and Opera experience, cloud-based experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of F&B products and service.
• Knowledge of meeting room capacities and AV setup.
• Basic math skills for accurate billing.
• Clear English communication in speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain strong client relations and ensure conference specifications are communicated and executed for a successful meeting experience.
• Monitor and manage room blocks and meeting space according to contract and client needs to maximize hotel revenue.
• Review contracts and notices, validate with client, and enforce deadlines to optimize space usage.
• Distribute Conference Resume and BEOs ahead of events and communicate changes to hotel departments.
• Collaborate with Culinary team on catering events and banquets.
• Help establish SOPs for the conference service department with the Director of Catering.
• Accurately forecast group room and F&B revenues within a 5% variance.
• Coordinate site visits, plan meetings for upcoming groups and affiliate business.
• Support Sales and Events team and review client bills for accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle cancellations/attrition charges and communicate feedback per hotel guidelines.
