Job summary

Montage International in Park City, UT seeks a Senior Manager of Meetings and Events to manage and execute group assignments handed over by Sales. You will monitor contractual agreements for guest room blocks, meeting space, F&B, and concessions, acting as a business partner aligned with the company’s goals.

You will maintain client relations, review contracts, and forecast revenues while ensuring on-time communication with hotel departments.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 1–2 years’ experience in Event Management or Conference Services.
• Luxury hotel experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree; Delphi and Opera experience.
• Extensive knowledge of food & beverage products and setup.
• Knowledge of meeting room capacities, banquet setup, A/V, and related details.
• Able to handle billing with basic math skills.
• Clear English communication (written & spoken).
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relations and ensure conference specifications are communicated and executed.
• Monitor room blocks and meeting space to maximize hotel revenue.
• Review contracts, room blocks, cut-off dates, concessions, and attrition with clients.
• Enforce deadlines and optimize space utilization.
• Prepare Conference Resume 7–10 days before first group arrival and communicate changes to hotel departments.
• Distribute BEOs 6–12 days prior to events.
• Forecast group room and F&B revenues with ≤5% variance.
• Participate in site visits and plan upcoming groups and affiliate business.
