Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a General Manager to oversee the full operational, financial, and experiential performance of a large, amenity-rich master-planned community. You will ensure a cohesive, high-quality lifestyle across amenities, resident services, events, infrastructure, and long-term development phases.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, partner with developers, HOA boards, service providers, and residents to maintain the community’s brand, financial health, and long-term

Qualifications

• 7+ years of high-profile community management experience with at least 4 years leading staff of 10+.
• Experience with master-planned communities or luxury developments preferred.
• CMCA/AMS/PCAM or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and resident-facing service skills.
• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• Ability to manage complex operations with multiple amenities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across amenities and facilities.
• Maintain elevated resident experiences aligned with brand standards.
• Lead lifestyle programming, events, and community engagement.
• Develop annual operating budgets, capital plans, and reserve studies.
• Manage vendor contracts and procurement for value and quality.
• Support HOA governance, board meetings, and policy implementation.
