Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager to oversee the full operational, financial, and experiential performance of a large amenity-rich master‑planned community in Florida. You will partner with developers, HOA boards, service providers, and residents to maintain brand, financial health, and long‑term vision.

You will lead day‑to‑day operations, strategic planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring amenities operate safely and deliver a superior resident lifestyle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in high-profile community management with 4+ years leading 10+ staff
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred in business, hospitality, or real estate
• CMCA/AMS/PCAM or equivalent credentials a plus, CAM/Real Estate license preferable

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all amenities and facilities
• Develop and manage operating budgets, CAPEX plans, and reserves
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and premium resident experiences
• Lead recruitment, training, and management of a multidisciplinary team
• Foster resident relations and effective communication with HOA/board
• Oversee governance, reporting, and vendor contracts
