Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. seeks a dynamic showroom sales professional to drive sales and deliver expert lighting and shading solutions. You will engage trade and consumer clients, guide projects from inception to completion, and collaborate with designers and architects to meet client goals.

The role emphasizes in-person showroom work, product knowledge development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining brand standards and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of showroom or retail sales experience in luxury home furnishings or lighting.
• Experience with design or building products and providing design guidance to clients.
• Proficient in interpreting floor plans and lighting layouts; strong communication skills.
• Familiar with CRM/ERP systems and project tracking; team-oriented and reliable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with relevant experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain client relationships with architects and designers.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass showroom sales objectives while delivering exceptional service.
• Oversee all sales phases from opportunity to invoice with strong follow-up.
• Deliver design consultation and product recommendations to trade and retail clients.
• Develop relationships with architects, builders, interior designers, and homeowners.
