Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking a showroom sales professional in the United States with a background in luxury lighting and design/build industries.

You will combine in-store client service with technical project design responsibilities, collaborating with trade and consumer clients from concept to completion. The role emphasizes achieving sales objectives, managing the sales pipeline, and delivering expert lighting recommendations, BOMs, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail or showroom sales experience in luxury home furnishings or lighting.
• Experience within design or building products industries is required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience helpful.
• Strong communication, project management, and client relation skills.
• Able to interpret lighting layouts and BOMs for proposals.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass showroom sales objectives with excellent customer service.
• Deliver expert lighting consultations and product recommendations.
• Present demonstrations featuring lighting, controls, and shading solutions.
• Develop relationships with architects, builders, designers, and homeowners.
• Collaborate with project management to align deliverables with designs.
• Manage showroom operations, schedules, and order entry processes.
