Job summary

Biltmore is seeking an In-Room Dining Supervisor to oversee Room Service, Cottages, Pool, Chateau Tier Lounge, Lobby Coffee & Water, and related BEOs in line with Biltmore Standards. The role requires supervising staff, ensuring service excellence, scheduling, and attending to performance management, with weekend and holiday availability.

As manager on duty in the Restaurant Manager's absence, you will support the team, sustain world-class dining experiences, and uphold Forbes 4-star standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related F&B supervisory/management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff development ability.
• Knowledge of wine and cordials; must be 21+ to bartend.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; diplomatic and tactful.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task efficiently.
• Proactive problem solving and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; able to learn systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision of operations and staff.
• Handles guest service recovery and resolves complaints.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Opening/closing and reporting duties.
• Coordinate between IRD servers and Culinary for seamless service.
• Assist with server duties during peak periods.
• Maintain knowledge of F&B products, VIPs, groups, and estate info.
• Support leadership with inventory and supplies.
