Job summary

Biltmore in Asheville, NC, seeks a Dining Room Supervisor to manage front-of-house dining operations and uphold our world-class guest service standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education/certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience in a comparable full-service restaurant; upscale hotel/resort/attraction experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and guest service skills; ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Knowledge of wine and cordials preferred; must be 21 years of age to bartend.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage and resolve issues professionally.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; learn Biltmore systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house dining operations and staff.
• Serve as manager on duty in absence of Restaurant Manager.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Open/close and complete reporting duties.
• Ensure seamless communication between front and back-of-house.
• Maintain knowledge of all F&B products, VIPs, groups, and Estate information.
• Support staff to exceed standards and deliver world-class guest experiences.
