Job summary

The Biltmore Estate is seeking an Inn AM Dining Room Supervisor to oversee front-of-house dining operations, ensuring world-class service and adherence to Biltmore standards. This full-time role requires weekend and holiday availability and involves acting as manager on duty when the Restaurant Manager is away.

You will supervise staff, support hiring and training, manage scheduling and performance, and strive to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; additional education preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and develop staff; strong guest service skills.
• Knowledge of wine and cordials preferred; must be 21 years of age to bartend.
• Outstanding interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; willingness to learn systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations and staff.
• Resolve guest issues and coach staff for service recovery.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Open/close shifts and handle reporting.
• Coordinate front/back-of-house communication to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, VIPs, groups, and estate information.
• Ensure service meets Biltmore standards.
