Job summary

Dowbuilt is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead high-end residential projects from on-site oversight. You will coordinate with architects, owners, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and quality standards are met throughout construction.

Top candidates bring 15 years of superintendent experience in luxury builds, proficiency with MS Project and Procore, and excellent team leadership. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 15 years of superintendent experience, 5 years high-end, custom residential.
• Experience working through design details and constructability challenges with architects/designers.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Journeyman-level carpentry skills.
• Excellent communication, team-building and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site construction manager for one-of-a-kind architecture projects.
• Ensure safety in accordance with plans, specs, and local codes.
• Daily constructability problem-solving and on-site quality control.
• Develop and manage project schedule in MS Project; assist with preconstruction estimates.
• Maintain plans, specs, as-builts, and documentation.
• Manage subcontractors, safety compliance, submittal reviews, RFIs, and shop drawings.
