Job summary

Dowbuilt seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead on-site construction for one-of-a-kind high-end residential projects. You will oversee safety, quality, and coordination with architects, designers, and owners, ensuring design intent is realized on schedule and within budget.

You will manage field crews, subcontractors, and foremen, while maintaining comprehensive documentation, plans, and communications with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and exemplary craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• 15 years of superintendent experience, 5 years in high-end, custom residential projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Journeyman-level carpentry skills and strong communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site construction manager for one-of-a-kind residential projects.
• Ensure safety, code compliance, and adherence to plans and specs.
• Coordinate with project manager to develop and manage the project schedule in MS Project; assist with preconstruction estimates.
• Maintain plans, as-builts, and project documentation.
• Manage subcontractors, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and safety compliance.
• Oversee field crew, optimize supplier relationships, and maintain professional communication.
• Conduct daily site walk-throughs and maintain detailed job logs of personnel, visits, hazards, and weather.
