Job summary

Dowbuilt is seeking a Project Manager to lead high‑end residential builds from site coordination to handover. You’ll work closely with the site superintendent, manage budgets, schedules, and documentation, and ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

The role requires strong technical and design sensitivity, integrity, and client‑facing professionalism. Based at our Morgan, UT project site, this position offers regional travel and onboarding at the Seattle home office as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of high‑end residential construction experience.
• Construction Management degree or other relevant education plus experience.
• Ability to travel regionally on occasion, and to Seattle home office for onboarding.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, team‑building, and mentoring skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, BlueBeam and/or Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with web‑based applications such as Slack, Asana, SmartSheet, and Airtable is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE is preferred.
• US Work Authorization

Responsibilities

• Managing project schedule, budget, resources, and documentation throughout the build lifecycle.
• Maintaining clear communication with team, field staff, clients, and design partners.
• Proactively addressing design changes, challenges, and opportunities.
• Participating in project estimating and pre‑construction control estimates.
• Owning build budget and cost control, including variation reviews.
• Tracking and reporting on project financials and progress.
• Executing value engineering and cost analysis as needed.
• Collaborating with the superintendent to develop and review schedules.
• Co‑owning the active build schedule with the superintendent.
• Managing subcontractor processes: RFPs, bids, contracts, scope, payments, and close‑out.
• Overseeing materials logistics: submittals, take‑offs, pricing, orders.
• Ensuring project documentation, shop drawings, warranties, and occupancy readiness.
• Supporting post‑construction review and project closeout tasks.
• Engaging in company growth, community outreach, and strategic milestones.
