Job summary

Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West, FL is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Group & Event Experience Manager to join our team. You’ll plan and service weddings, social celebrations, corporate meetings, and special events from initial client contact through day-of execution.

Because this role requires frequent collaboration with guests, clients, event spaces, and resort operations, on-property presence is essential. This is a full-time, on-site position in a luxury resort setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in catering sales, wedding sales, conference services, event management, or a related hospitality role.
• Luxury hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events, clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and service weddings, rehearsals, celebrations, corporate meetings, and other events.
• Support property tours, site inspections, client appointments, and event walkthroughs.
• Build strong relationships with clients from initial introduction through event completion.
• Create BEOs, resumes, menus, and event details.
• Coordinate with Culinary, F&B, Banquets, Rooms and other teams for seamless execution.
• Develop menus, timelines, and event experiences with clients while identifying revenue opportunities.
• Review event spaces and setups to meet client expectations and resort standards.
• Be present for key events and welcome clients on arrival, with hands-on support.
