Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West seeks an energetic Group & Event Experience Manager to manage weddings, social celebrations, corporate meetings and special events from first client contact through day-of execution.

You will coordinate with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Banquets and other resort teams to ensure seamless event delivery and create memorable guest experiences with our luxury service standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in catering sales, wedding sales, conference services, or event management.
• Experience with luxury hotel or resort settings preferred.
• Strong sales, relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Plan and service weddings, rehearsals, celebrations, corporate meetings and events.

Ocean Key Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Group & Event Experience Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves bringing events to life, from the first conversation with a client through the final details and day-of execution.

You’ll be responsible for planning, and servicing weddings, social celebrations, corporate meetings, and special events while creating memorable experiences that reflect the service and attention to detail expected at a luxury resort.

Because this position is highly connected to our guests, clients, event spaces, and operational teams, regular on-property presence at Ocean Key Resort & Spa is an essential part of the role.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, and service weddings, rehearsal dinners, celebrations, corporate meetings, holiday parties, fundraisers, reunions, and other social events.
• Support with property tours, site inspections, client appointments, and event walk-throughs.
• Build strong relationships with clients from initial introduction through event completion.
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), resumes, menus, and event details.
• Partner with Culinary, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Rooms, and other resort teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Work with clients to develop menus, event experiences, timelines, and special requests while identifying opportunities to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate tastings, planning meetings, room blocks, and other event-related details.
• Review event spaces and setups before functions to ensure they meet client expectations and resort standards.
• Be present for key events and welcome clients upon arrival, providing hands-on support when needed.
• Monitor event billing, deposits, and payment procedures in partnership with accounting.
• Follow up with clients after events to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Participate in BEO meetings, business reviews, training, and other sales and operational meetings.
• Represent Ocean Key Resort & Spa at wedding shows, networking opportunities, and other events as needed.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in catering sales, wedding sales, conference services, event management, or a related hospitality role.
• Luxury hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple events, clients, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working collaboratively across hotel departments.
• Proficiency with event management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Professional presence and a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business and event needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet Noble House Hotels & Resorts background screening requirements.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• This position combines office-based work with frequent movement throughout the resort and event spaces. The role requires the ability to:
• Frequently stand and walk throughout the property, including indoor and outdoor event spaces.
• Sit and work at a computer for periods of time.
• Reach, bend, stoop, and kneel as needed during event preparation and execution.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Communicate effectively with guests, clients, vendors, and team members in a variety of environments.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain the visual and auditory ability necessary to review event details, inspect event setups, and interact effectively with guests and team members.
