Hyatt Place Madison/Downtown in Madison, WI is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, and deliver personalized service around the clock. You will use Opera and other systems to manage reservations, assist with local recommendations, and resolve guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.

You will be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, contributing to a seamless guest experience and strong team collaboration in a luxury setting.

Formación

• Desire to satisfy guests in fast-paced settings.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of Opera preferred.
• 1–2 years’ experience at front desk or in front office preferred.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations.
• Ability to multi-task on several items at once.

Responsabilidades

• Welcomes and registers hotel guests, explains accommodations and payment methods.
• Checks guests out, explains and prepares billing.
• Responds to guest requests with personalized recommendations to maximize satisfaction.
• Coordinates with pre-arrival and in-house guests to anticipate preferences.
• Assists guests with arranging services (tours, dining, transportation) and vendors.
• Handles inquiries via in-person, phone, chat, and email.
• Maintains updated desk collateral on local restaurants, activities and attractions.
• Uses Opera and other systems to manage guest requests and billing.
