Job summary

The Knox is opening a Dallas destination and seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to drive polished service across all outlets and guest experiences. You will lead daily operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with culinary, finance, and events teams to support profitability and a memorable guest journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of progressive restaurant or hotel F&B experience.
• Pre-opening or hotel-opening experience is highly desirable.
• Food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications required or to be obtained.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of elevated service, wine/spirits, labor management, inventory controls, and guest recovery.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support opening and daily operation of hotel F&B outlets using ENRICH values.
• Lead service periods with a visible presence, ensuring warm, polished hospitality.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and motivate F&B team members.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings on menus, ingredients, wine, spirits, and priorities.
• Maintain service standards, presentation, cleanliness, ambiance, and outlet readiness.
• Build guest relationships, anticipate preferences, resolve concerns discreetly.
• Partner with Culinary, Stewarding, Finance, Banquets, and others to ensure seamless ops.
• Assist with payroll, labor management, scheduling, inventories, purchasing, cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible alcohol service, sanitation, and cash-handling.
