Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection in Dallas is seeking an Event Services Manager to lead assigned events from contract turnover through execution. You will coordinate agendas, menus, room setups, timelines, vendors and special requests, acting as the primary client contact and ensuring top-tier service across hotel departments.

Reporting to the Director of Catering Sales, you will help establish planning standards and pre-opening processes while supporting team onboarding and site inspections.

Qualifications

• Three years hotel event management experience with on-site execution.
• Strong knowledge of event operations, room setups and logistics.
• Excellent organization and communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage events from contract turnover through execution as primary client contact.
• Coordinate agendas, menus, room setups, timelines, vendors and tastings.
• Lead planning meetings and walkthroughs with clients and teams.
• Coordinate group blocks, rooming lists and guest requests with relevant teams.
• Prepare accurate BEOs, resumes, diagrams and planning notes in Delphi.
• Present events at BEO meetings and lead pre/post-event reviews.
• Oversee event readiness, timelines, staffing and service delivery.
• Track deposits, guarantees and payments; review final charges for accuracy.
• Identify enhancements like menu upgrades and beverage selections.
• Help establish pre-opening planning procedures and vendor relationships.
• Support onboarding, site inspections, and client meetings.
