Job summary

One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana offers a Food & Beverage Internship with exposure to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House operations within a luxury resort. Interns will gain hands-on experience across multiple outlets and event settings while learning the standards of service excellence.

During the internship, you’ll rotate between outlets, assist with reservations and banquet functions, participate in team briefings, and shadow seasoned leaders to explore career paths in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in hospitality program
• Must be able to commit to a minimum 3-month internship
• Prior working experience in hospitality is strongly preferred
• Passionate about hospitality with a genuine interest in luxury service
• Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist in a memorable first impression
• Participate in full-service restaurant operations across roles
• Rotate between Food & Beverage outlets to gain exposure to cuisines and service styles
• Anticipate and respond to guest questions and expectations
• Understand service flow, reservations management, and outlet operations
• Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of meetings and events
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding and Housekeeping to meet event requirements
• Work with reservation/guest management systems and inventory controls
• Shadow leaders to learn different career paths
• Attend departmental meetings for outlet planning and priorities
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Education

Current Hospitality student or recent grad (within 2 years)
