Job summary

Havenly is seeking a Design Expert for its Soho studio in New York. You will deliver a high-end, personalized client experience while driving sales growth across retail and trade clients.

You’ll style homes for walk-in and appointment clients, build lasting relationships with interior designers, and own every sale from first conversation to delivery. You’ll guide clients on furniture, decor, rugs, and styling choices, while mastering our collections and artisan stories.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years sales experience, luxury/home decor preferred.
• Experience selling to interior designers and trade clients preferred.
• Background in interior design or home furnishings; ability to create mood boards and floor plans.
• Strong customer-centric approach delivering memorable experiences.
• Able to work in a team while driving personal sales.
• Well-organized with multi-client/project management.
• Comfortable with Shopify POS, CRM, Canva, and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs with exceptional service and product knowledge.
• Consult clients in-store and virtually on furniture, decor, rugs, and styling.
• Own the full client journey from inquiry to purchase to post-delivery follow-up.
• Build quotes and orders in Shopify; manage POS transactions and tagging.
• Develop and manage a client book; log activity in CRM; engage with clients for launches and events.
• Master collections and artisan stories; stay updated on new launches.
• Assist with floor plans and mood boards to ensure proper fit of pieces.
• Maintain an organized, on-brand studio and support opening/closing.
