Job summary

Havenly, Inc. seeks a Design Expert in our Soho studio to deliver a high-end client experience while driving sales across retail and trade clients. You’ll style spaces, build relationships with interior designers, and own the sales process from inquiry to delivery.

Lead quotes in Shopify, manage client books in CRM, and craft mood boards with 2D/3D design tools. This is a full-time studio role in NYC with evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in sales, preferably luxury, specialty retail, furniture, or home decor.
• Experience selling to or working with interior designers and trade clients preferred.
• Background in interior design or home furnishings; able to create mood boards and floor plans.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by delivering exceptional service and product knowledge.
• Conduct client consultations in-store and virtually for furniture, decor, rugs, and styling choices.
• Own the full client journey from inquiry to post-delivery follow-up.
• Build quotes and draft orders in Shopify; process POS transactions accurately and keep orders tagged to the studio.
• Develop and manage a client book; log activity in CRM; stay in touch with clients through new collections and events.
• Master company collections and artisan stories; stay current on new launches.
• Assist clients with 2D/3D room planning and mood boards; ensure proper size and fit.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom organized; follow inventory procedures; assist with opening/closing.
• Act as brand ambassador in New York City and build a local customer base.
