Job summary

Havenly in New York’s Soho studio is seeking a Design Expert in Sales to deliver a high-end, personalized client experience while driving sales growth across retail and trade clients. You’ll style homes for walk-in and appointment clients, build relationships with interior designers, and own every sale from inquiry to delivery.

You’ll lead client consultations, craft mood boards, manage quotes in Shopify, and act as a brand ambassador in the local design community, all while hitting sales

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in sales, preferably in luxury or home décor.
• Experience selling to interior designers and trade clients.
• Background in interior design or home furnishings.
• Customer-focused, with ability to create memorable client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs with exceptional service.
• Consult clients in-store and virtually on furniture, decor, and styling.
• Own the full client journey from inquiry to delivery.
• Build quotes and orders in Shopify; process POS accurately.
• Develop and manage a client book; CRM activity tracking.
• Master product collections and artisan stories; stay current on launches.
• Provide mood boards and floor plans; assist with spatial planning.
• Keep the studio organized, inventory-controlled, and on-brand.
• Engage with the local NY brand community and trade partners.
