Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager to run day-to-day operations of a luxury condominium complex, ensuring maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with association documents. The role requires building relationships with owners, tenants, contractors and staff, managing budgets, supervising personnel, and coordinating with the Board; on-call 24/7.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of managerial experience in building management; benefits

Qualifications

• Education/Training: A four-year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a condominium, hotel or commercial building management organization is required.
• Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: A minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administrative: negotiates contracts for maintenance and services; monitors performance of contracted work.
• Communicates weekly with residents and stakeholders about issues and status.
• Maintains inventory of furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies; updates maintenance schedules.
• Enforces building rules and regulations; ensures compliance with laws in Texas and Austin.
• Supervises and coordinates personnel; manages payroll records and timecards.
• Oversees budget processes, audits, financial reports to the Board; assists with annual budget and capex planning.
• Maintains safety practices and building access control; trains staff on access procedures.
• Ensures professional appearance and a safe work environment; coordinates renovations with contractors.
