Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a luxury condominium complex in Galveston, TX. You will manage maintenance, cleaning, safety, and compliance with association documents while building strong relationships with owners, tenants, vendors and staff.

You will lead administrative, personnel, budget and safety functions, ensuring on-call readiness and adherence to local laws. A four-year degree and 5+ years of managerial experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in condo/hotel/building management required.
• Minimum five years managerial experience including budgeting, supervision and operations.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts for maintenance and services for the common areas.
• Communicate weekly with residents, board, and staff on operations and issues.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting and board presentations.
