Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a General Manager in Saint Petersburg, FL to lead the on-site operation of a property and manage the book of business. You will collaborate with departments, boards, and regional leaders to implement projects and deliver quality service.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff, site inspections, budget and construction oversight, and maintaining contractual obligations with the association.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or related field.
• CAM certification/licensure by the State of Florida.
• 3+ years of experience in property operations, hospitality, or construction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.
• Knowledge of Florida statutes and community documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to assigned property and book of business.
• Manage the functions of a team within a property while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Act as liaison to ensure quality service and to assist in prompt response and resolution to questions.
• Maintain knowledge of the contract between the association and FirstService Residential and ensure obligations are met.
• Initiate contact with new residents.
• Conduct site inspections, identify deficiencies and provide improvement plans.
• Oversee construction projects and ensure maintenance/budget adherence.
• Create, maintain, and upload information in the portal (work orders, meeting minutes, Monthly Management Report).
• Interview, hire, train and schedule staff; ensure proper coverage; resolve problems.
