Job summary

Extell Development Company seeks an Assistant Resident Manager to oversee daily operations of One Manhattan Square, coordinating repairs, maintenance, and vendor work to ensure top-tier service for residents.

The role requires supervising a luxury building staff, maintaining safety and life-safety systems, and coordinating move-ins/outs. A high school diploma or GED with technical background is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems.
• Luxury hotel or residential background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters daily.
• Strong background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and janitorial responsibilities.
• Facilities and operations experience with solid knowledge of building systems.
• Prior experience with BMS, Yardi, and BuildingLink.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Windows, etc.
• Effective supervisory skills with 2 years’ experience managing a luxury building staff preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the building and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Supervise and direct building staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor security, alarms, fire suppression and safety systems.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs and manage vendors and contractors.
• Maintain amenity spaces and manage supplies.
• Remain available 24x7 in case of emergencies and resolve issues as needed.
