Job summary

Brooklyn Point’s Resident Manager role oversees daily operations, coordinating with Extell Management Services Inc. to maintain exceptional building standards.

The position requires living on-site and staying available 24×7 to resolve resident and staff issues, while ensuring repairs, safety systems, and vendor management run smoothly. Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Compliance with all company policies, EEO, Fair Housing and 32BJ guidelines.
• High school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
• Minimum of 5 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and systems.
• Luxury hotel or residential background.
• Ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters daily.
• Facilities and operations experience with solid knowledge of building systems.
• Prior experience with Cooling Tower systems.
• Prior experience with BMS (BuildingLink, and Yardi) is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of painting and finishing work.
• Strong background in working with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Yardi etc.
• Effective supervisory skills with 5 years’ experience managing luxury building staff.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Manager will act as liaison between residents and Extell Management Services.
• Oversee daily operations including repairs, maintenance, safety systems, and security.
• Coordinate with building retail for shared systems maintenance and vendor management.
• Supervise staff, schedule payroll, and manage HR-related tasks.
• Assist management with drafting, finalizing, and monitoring annual building budget.
• Live on-site and be available 24×7 for emergencies and issue resolution.
