Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection in Dallas is hiring a Bellperson/Door Attendant to welcome guests and manage luggage, transportation, and guest flow. You will be an ambassador for the property, delivering courteous service and local information to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hospitality experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Working knowledge of hotel operations and local area information is considered an asset.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor with a demonstrated commitment to guest service excellence.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, subject to review in accordance with company policy and applicable insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional, and attentive welcome to all arriving and departing guests, ensuring the bell stand experience reflects the hotel’s standards of excellence and hospitality.
• Serve as a key ambassador of the property by creating strong first and last impressions through courteous interaction, polished presentation, and proactive guest engagement.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, including transporting, lifting, storing, and delivering baggage to and from guest rooms with care, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ensure all guest belongings are handled securely at all times, maintaining awareness of ownership, room numbers, and delivery instructions to prevent loss or delay.
• Escort guests to their rooms when appropriate, providing assistance with luggage while offering brief orientation to hotel services, amenities, and room features.
• Support the arrival and departure process by managing luggage flow in the lobby, coordinating carts, and ensuring smooth transitions during peak periods.
• Arrange and coordinate guest transportation services including taxis, rideshares, private vehicles, airport transfers, and hotel shuttles in a timely and organized manner.
