Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection is opening in Dallas and seeks a Room Attendant to maintain pristine guest rooms and public areas. You will follow brand standards, clean suites, restock amenities, and report maintenance issues with a focus on guest privacy and safety.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in housekeeping, preferably in luxury hotels, and can work weekends/holidays. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success at The Knox.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping experience required
• Prior experience in a luxury or full-service hotel preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills; bilingual ability preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms following hotel standards
• Make beds, replace linens, and ensure proper bedding presentation
• Vacuum carpets and clean all floor surfaces including tile and hardwood
• Sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles and switches
• Disinfect bathrooms including toilets, showers, and sinks
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities
• Restock in-room items such as coffee, tea, cups, and tissues
• Inspect completed rooms for cleanliness and readiness for guests
• Check room equipment (TV, lights, HVAC) functions properly
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
• Empty trash and replace liners in guest rooms and bathrooms
• Maintain housekeeping cart clean, organized, and stocked
• Update room status per procedure
• Respond promptly to guest requests or inquiries
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Handle lost and found items according to company policy
• Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
• Comply with housekeeping policies and brand guidelines
• Meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
• Communicate room status with supervisors and team
