Job summary

The Knox, Auberge Collection in Dallas invites you to join a bold hospitality team as a Bellperson/Door Attendant. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, coordinate arrivals and departures, and act as a friendly bridge between guests and hotel services.

You will deliver accurate information about local attractions, help with transportation, safeguard guest belongings, and support a seamless guest experience with urgency, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional, and attentive welcome to all arriving and departing guests, ensuring the bell stand experience reflects the hotel’s standards of excellence and hospitality.
• Serve as a key ambassador of the property by creating strong first and last impressions through courteous interaction, polished presentation, and proactive guest engagement.
• Assist guests with luggage handling, including transporting, lifting, storing, and delivering baggage to and from guest rooms with care, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Escort guests to their rooms when appropriate, providing assistance with luggage while offering brief orientation to hotel services, amenities, and room features.
• Support the arrival and departure process by managing luggage flow in the lobby, coordinating carts, and ensuring smooth transitions during peak periods.
• Arrange and coordinate guest transportation services including taxis, rideshares, private vehicles, airport transfers, and hotel shuttles in a timely and organized manner.
• Communicate clearly with transportation providers to ensure prompt arrival and departure services aligned with guest schedules and expectations.
• Provide accurate and helpful information regarding hotel facilities, services, and local attractions, including dining, entertainment, and transportation options.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests by offering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences and inquiries.
• Receive, log, track, and deliver guest packages, mail, and special items with accuracy, security, and attention to detail.
• Maintain proper documentation and follow hotel procedures for handling guest property, including valuables, special deliveries, and stored luggage.
• Safeguard all guest items in designated storage areas, ensuring organization, security, and efficient retrieval when needed.
• Serve as a communication bridge between guests and hotel departments by relaying requests to Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other teams.
• Follow up on guest requests to ensure timely completion and satisfaction, escalating concerns when necessary to maintain service standards.
• Support Notable Guest arrivals, group check-ins, and special events by assisting with luggage coordination and guest flow management.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the bell stand, luggage storage areas, and lobby entrances at all times.
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security concerns promptly to appropriate hotel personnel.
• Deliver all duties with a strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and guest-first service mindset to ensure a seamless guest experience.
