Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, build client relationships, and drive cosmetics sales using the brand's clienteling system. Under the Cosmetics Selling Manager, you will keep a polished counter, support in-house events, and close sales while upholding Saks standards.

You will work with a dynamic team to exceed goals, develop makeup consultation skills, and contribute to a premier luxury shopping experience across Exemplar Luxury Group's

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer focused cosmetics environment.
• Successfully demonstrated sales experience, exceeding quota.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and Saks Fifth Avenue proprietary software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, positive working attitude.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive business.
• Demonstrate sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Demonstrate professional makeup and treatment consultation and application.

Responsibilities

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank).
• Focus on achieving and exceeding individual and department sales goals.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and build relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
• Serve as liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and Account Executive.
• Record and maintain client information and preferences using clienteling tools.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from approach to closing the sale and follow-up.
• Maintain counter standards with a clean, tidy, welcoming selling area.
