Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, build relationships, and drive sales for cosmetics. Under supervision of the Cosmetics Selling Manager, you will manage client relationships, participate in trainings, and contribute to counter merchandising and events while achieving departmental goals.

This role emphasizes the brand’s clienteling system and a proactive approach to closing sales, with a focus on providing a premium luxury shopping experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer focused, cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience, exceeding quota.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to learn online clienteling tools and Saks proprietary software.
• Attention to detail, initiative, positive working attitude.
• Ability to work independently to drive a successful business.
• Sound business judgment and organizational ability.
• Professional make-up and treatment consultation and application.

Responsibilities

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank).
• Focus on achieving/exceeding individual and vendor line sales goals and events.
• Maintain high level of customer service and develop customer relationships as brand expert.
• Maintain positive liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue and Account Executive.
• Use clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer experience from approach to closing the sale and follow-up.
• Keep counter standards clean, tidy, and welcoming.
