Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver outstanding service, build customer relationships, and drive sales within a luxury cosmetics environment. You will train through in-house programs, host facial events, and maintain a fully merchandised counter while closing sales using clienteling tools.

You will engage clients, increase personal and vendor-driven sales, and represent the brand with professionalism across a high-energy, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail experience, preferably in a customer focused cosmetics environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience, exceeding quota.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn and use online clienteling tools and software proprietary to Neiman Marcus.
• Attention to detail, initiative, and a positive working attitude.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work independently to drive business.
• Demonstrate professional makeup and treatment consultation and application.

Responsibilities

• Model all Neiman Marcus Principles (Greet, Relate, Exceed, Attend and Thank).
• Focus on achieving and exceeding individual and vendor line sales goals and department goals.
• Maintain high level of customer service and establish customer relationships as the brand expert and department representative.
• Maintain a positive image as a liaison between Neiman Marcus and the Account Executive.
• Use the clienteling system to record and maintain client information and preferences.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience from approach to closing the sale and follow-up.
• Keep counter clean, tidy and welcoming.
