Job summary

Elysée New York, a boutique luxury hotel in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a hospitality-driven Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service across Salon Sanssouci and hotel operations. Qualifications

• Genuine passion for hospitality and ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong product knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and beverage pairings with recommendations.
• Clear, professional communication and coordination with kitchen, bar, and service teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tables and courses without compromising service.
• Compliance with responsible alcohol service and safety guidelines.
• Experience with POS systems and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Must meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and escort to tables when appropriate.
• Present menus, explain specials, and suggest pairings with enthusiasm.
• Answer questions about menu, ingredients, allergens, and portion sizes.
• Recommend items and upsell appetizers, desserts, and beverages.
• Build rapport with guests and anticipate needs; recognize returning guests.
• Maintain guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly with management involvement as needed.
• Serve as storyteller for Salon Sanssouci and Elysée New York.
• Handle table maintenance, bussing, and side work as needed.
