Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Server to understand menu items, educate guests on allergies, and deliver an elevated experience aligned with Service Standards. You will enter orders into the POS, collaborate with FOH/BOH, and assist with guest requests to ensure satisfaction.

A successful candidate thrives in fast-paced service, maintains a positive attitude, and provides exceptional hospitality with strong communication. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Able to take direction and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists on trained processes.
• Elevate the dining experience by suggesting food and drink pairings and discussing specials to drive sales.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to management and executive chef to mitigate risk.
• Complete all check-out reports at end of shift and obtain sign-off from management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and company procedures and applicable laws.
• Ensure proper plating and coursing of orders before serving to members/guests.
• Support runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets as needed.
• Clean and stock server area, polish silverware, plates, and glassware.
