Soho House & Co in New York seeks a Server to understand and educate members and guests on menu items, allergies, and service standards, while delivering an elevated dining experience. You will collaborate with FOH/BOH teams and ensure accurate order entry and attentive service to support guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a similar role, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Hospitable, approachable and customer-service oriented.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• TIPS certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management; complete checklists on trained processes.
• Elevate guests' dining experience by suggesting pairings and specials to drive sales with confident communication.
• Inform Management and Executive Chef of allergies or red flags to mitigate risk.
• Complete checkout reports and obtain sign-off from management.
• Adhere to health, safety and company policies; follow local laws as applicable.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
• Assist runners and bussers with expo and service bar tickets.
• Clean and stock server area; polish silverware, plates and glassware.
• Know the menu to confidently suggest options to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
