Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Server to educate members and guests on menu items and allergens, while delivering an elevated experience per Soho House Service Standards. The role collaborates with FOH/BOH teams and uses the POS system to enter orders, supporting special requests and guests with professionalism.

The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong customer service skills and a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to maintain exceptional service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
• Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with coworkers and management and complete checklists per Club School.
• Elevate the dining experience through menu suggestions and pairings to drive sales while maintaining superior service.
• Communicate allergies or red flags to Management and Executive Chef to mitigate risk.
• Complete checkout reports at end of shift and secure manager sign-off.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and all company/procedural standards.
• Ensure orders are plated and served correctly to members/guests.
