Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers to own the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems across lunar and spacecraft hardware. You will ensure quality control, optimize supply chain logistics, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to reduce costs and accelerate builds.

The role requires a strong background in DFx, manufacturing documentation, and leadership of process improvements while complying with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years as a Level II Engineer, 5+ as Level III, or 8+ as Level IV in Manufacturing Eng.
• Experience creating clear manufacturing documentation (work instructions, BOM, flow diagrams).
• Willingness to work required shift and site with overtime as needed.
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Support industrialization of new flight and payload hardware.
• Drive DFM, DFA, DFT across the product lifecycle.
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and operations to accelerate build.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, inspection plans, process flows, tooling.
• Evaluate new manufacturing tech and lead root cause investigations.
